The Lounge
Esoterica Lounge House Rules:Must be 21 & prove it to be served alcohol at esoterica. No intoxicated patrons will be allowed on the premises. No re entry for minors. No smoking inside, no large bags, must keep your shoes on at all times. Anyone found to be using, buying, selling or possessing illegal drugs will be ejected from the property & subject to arrest. Any lewd or lascivious behavior will result in the immediate removal from the premises.
Forbiden Items:Confetti, fog machines, combustibles, weapons, outside drinks, & drugs.
Coordinator, Dj, Promoter Responsibilites:Leave the pa system & all sound equipment in good working condition like it was found. Pa settings can only be made by esoterica staff. The sound levels are preset to prevent any damage to the equipment. The dj can control everything from his mixer. Dj must provide his own working playing tools such as cd players, turn tables, mixers or laptop computer serato systems. Esoterica has the pa system to hook into directly.
Financial Requirements:Private lounge rental is $500 (21 & up) & a bar guarantee of $1200. Non refundable deposit must be paid upon booking in order to hold the event (we tentatively can hold it for one week) the promoter \ event coordinator must be responsible for taxes owed w/ any monies made from a door charge to the irs. We are not responsible nor do we employ any promoters \ event coordinators. Promoter must sign an event contract at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Under Age Events:Esoterica requires that the promoter \ event coordinator provide & pay for a police officer on under age events. On private underage mixers the lounge is $1500 to rent out. Includes dj & staff. All house rules are strictly enforced. Promoter will be responsible for property damages on such "high risk" event.
Bottle Service:Must be secured 48 hours prior to event to ensure the liquor is in stock. All bottles will include a 20% gratuity for the cocktail waitress. Texas law prevents patrons from serving themselves.
VIP Room:Holds approximately 15 people. Must purchase a two bottle minimum to secure the VIP room. Promoter may bring finger food for events.
DecorationsMust be set up by promoter. Promoter must also clean up any decorations at the end of the event. Not doing so will result in loss of security deposit or an additional charge.
CapacityEsoterica’s capacity is 200 people; if we reach this point the door man will let one in & one out to control the safety of the crowd.
