This restaurant is always packed when I go. The food is really good, the decor is very nice, & the service is great. However, I had a difficult time with delivery since apparently they don't deliver a mere 10 miles away on a straight drive, for which I don't understand what the point of having the option to deliver is - if I were any closer I'd just drive myself.
This restaraunt seems to have been here for years, and has a visibly loyal following to show for it, and why not the food is awesome! They do not have a buffet, but it is not needed because this is one of the best chinese restaraunts there is.From appetizers and different soups to familiar dishes seen in other Chinese Restaraunts, you expect to find on the menu, but they do it all so well. The owner and his wife as well as the serving staff are all so nice and great. If you look around while you are eating your szechuan chicken or pork w garlic sauce, you will see the whole staff (even the owner) come talk to their customers, and have actual conversations like they know whom they are. When you start paying attention you realize; of course they are talking to these people like they know whom they are, because they are the people who have been coming there for years and have gotten to know them...how many restaraunts do you know that are really glad to see you walk in the door, and actually remember who you are and remember things in conversations they have had with you previous?? Not many is for sure...
The food is well priced, you get great portions (you can take it home for lunch the next day) they run specials, have delivery and pick up, great menu selections, and are quick. If you are used to only buffets where food is thrown into a warming bin, come here.. actually order one entree instead of piling your plate with a mish mash and you will see a difference. After all, isnt the point of having lunch or dinner eating somewhere where the food is great tasting and done right, rather than trying to see how much bad or so-so food you can get on a plate at one time and wolf down and go back for seconds? That may be good if you just got rescued from a desert island.. but come on...we are far from any islands around here, unless you are talking about the lake..
