I booked my daughters 16th birthday party at Benbrook Stables in July. It turned out fabulous!!!
We were a little worried about it being hot outside, but everyone was having such a good time you never even noticed. The pavilions are surrounded by huge shade trees and you get a constant nice breeze.
We all went on a beautiful trail ride by the lake before we started the party. The horses were perfect and exactly how they are pictured on the website. They were gentle and sweet and looked very well cared for.
The staff was so helpful and friendly and made our time at the stables so much fun.
We brought in a DJ who had a keraoke machine and everyone had a blast singing and having fun.
This place is definitely 4 star on every level. We are going to book it next year for my 50th.
My wedding at Benbrook Stables was beyond anything I could have imagined.
It was total perfection. The venue is gorgeous and transformed into an evening under the stars.
The price at $250 an hour was also the best we found anywhere. I couldn't believe that was all it cost for the setting you get.
It was also the only place I could find that would let me use my own caterers, and bring in all of my own people in to help. Everywhere I checked wanted me to use their list of vendors. The stables employees were so friendly and helpful and very easy to work with.
They worked with me on every aspect of my wedding and just made it all so easy. I couldn't believe how completely hassle free they made it, which made it such a no stress wedding for me and my family.
Wonderful Facility, Wonderful People and Great Wedding Venue!
Great Place to Board Your Horse - Go on a Trail Ride - Have a Party, or Take a Lesson.
We have done it all at Benbrook Stables and love every minute of it.
My kids first learned to ride there because we took a trail ride and LOVED IT. Then we took lessons and loved it so much, we bought our first horse and are now boarders. That was 5 years ago. My kids found their passion on that first trail ride.
The trail rides are great! The guides are all so fun even while having to deal with a LOT of stuff from first time riders every day. They always do it with a smile.
The barns are beautiful and very well kept. Our only complaint is the horses are too fat. They hay is great and the grain is perfectly balanced. Our horses are easy keepers and we have to keep cutting them back.
The owners are so fun and always have something going on for the boarders.
Always a trail ride or a cookout or a volleyball game and swimming in the Summer or a campfire in the cantina in the winter.
There is no way you can beat the care you and your horse will get at Benbrook Stables.
Great Place to Ride a Horse
My kids and my parents had a fantastic day at the stables. They had the perfect horse for all of us. My mom had a little trouble with the arthritis in her hip and our trail boss could not have been sweeter. He helped her on her horse "Chuy"
very pretty mare who stood quiet and patiently waiting for my 70 year old mother to climb aboard.
He also checked on mom and dad several times during the ride.
The stables is a perfect outing for the whole family to experience something fun together.
No matter what age, I think we had more fun than going to Disney.
The staff was warm and friendly, patient and attentive. The horses were kind and well groomed and fat as ticks.
I will definitely refer all of my friends to Benbrook Stables.
We Love Benbrook Stables
Every year we make it a part of our vacation. We particularly enjoy visiting with all the people at the barn. I don't think anyone there has ever met a stranger. Benbrook Stables is definitely one of our favorite things about heading to Texas every year. We wouldn't miss the trail rides and hospitality there for anything.
The horses there are better than the horses at other places we have visited. They don't make you line up like most of the other stables and you really get to ride them instead of just sitting there and the horse follows the one in front of him.
Can't wait to go back. I look forward to our trip to Texas because of Benbrook Stables
Benbrook Stables is Gorgeous - Horses are Amazing

Best Place to Board in Fort Worth Hands Down
I have boarded at Benbrook for years. In the Spring the place looks like the Botanical Gardens with beautiful landscaping and flowers everywhere. In the Winter, it is light up for Christmas and is amazing.
The guys that clean and feed are the greatest. They are caring, courteous and love taking care of the horses. Ramerio, spends his day meticulously cleaning the stalls and Daniel wouldn t miss a day feeding and watering if his life depended on it. They feed every morning at 7am and again every afternoon between 2:30 and 3:00pm like clock work.
Your horse gets to eat hay for 7 straight hours on round bales of fresh coastal hay. When I feed my horse in her stall, it takes her maybe an hour to clean every last piece up. All pastures have 500 gallon tanks with automatic waterers. No such thing as being without water, simply can t happen
No such thing as overcrowding either. The stables is on 100 acres. If they were not well kept with terrible conditions as some of these reviewers say, how in the world could they board enough horses to overcrowd 100 acres? There is more than enough space for all the horses and plenty more.
The Stables is also voted Best Of in every magazine yearly. Check it out.....Best of Fort Worth, Top Women owned Business, in the Business Press, Best Date, in D Magazine etc... I m pretty sure the list goes on, I just don t know what all they are.
Benbrook Stables is a must for any horse owner interested in great care for their horse.
Female owner is a Bully! Do not pay in Cash! – I booked my son's bday party at the Benbrook Stables Cantina in March 2012. The horses were 20 minutes late because they were on a trailride. The female owner tried to kick us out of the cantina early because she booked the cantina at 3pm and our party was scheduled to end at 3pm. She leaves no time in between for clean up and set up. One of the horses collapsed while a little girl was riding on it. The propane tank was empty. She threatened me with physical violence. The stables requires you to pay the balance in cash prior to the party beginning and then threatened not to give us what we paid for. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Buisiness Bureau (BBB) I am hoping to save some family the frustration and hassel that we went through. If you want more details you can go to the BBB website and read my full complaint, the stables response and my response to their compaints.
Texas Best Trail Ride - Benbrook Stables – What a great day trip away from all the meetings. We left Dallas at 1pm, headed to Ft. Worth to ride horses and it was the highlight of our trip. Benbrook Stables is the perfect afternoon getaway. The people were the most polite and hospitable of anywhere in the world I have traveled. The horses are beautiful, very well cared for and were all extremely gentle. Two of the ladies in our party have never been around a horse in their life and they still haven't stopped talking about their horses "Chula" and "Cactus." Our guide was a delightful, young woman who really knew her way around a horse. A true Texan born and raised and could ride like she had been doing it before she could walk.
We plan to make it part of our trip to Texas every year from now on
Nice place and nice horses – I have been to Benbrook stables 5 times for trail rides and think it is a nice place for a trail ride and always take my out of town guests there for a ride. The horses always look healthy and the paddocks are nice.
I have only had one bad experience there, when the horse I was on decided to kick at the horse behind her and threw me off. It hurt and I had bruises and some scrapes but that's all. Getting thrown off wasn't fun, but what made it worse was one of the women there acted as if I did something to the horse to cause it. I didn't appreciate it and reacted badly, which in turn made her defensive and she acted badly too. It would have been much better if she told me she was sorry and got me a bottle of water or something, just a bit of compassion would have been nice.
People and animals have bad days, and this one bad experience could have happened anywhere. I'm rating Benbrook 4 star based on my overall experience with them. It's a nice place, the people there are usually friendly and the trail guides (always teenagers) are sometimes talkative. They usually run 15 minues late for the trail rides, sometimes up to 30, so plan accordingly. But during your wait you can pet the horses and the dogs, and maybe even see a new foal - there is nothing cuter than a baby horse!
go see for yourself!!! – I have never seen horses have to live in such nasty conditions except maybe on t v being rescued! They have to stand in about 1 foot of water and mud just to eat their food. Then they have older horses in there that are getting beat up just trying to eat hay. When i was there looking to see if i wanted to go on a trail ride i had to leave because i couldn't stand the condition of the horses and the place they had to live looked like.
