Awesome - Fresh - Tasting - Pizza !. I have been coming to Parton's for several years. And the main reason is the taste and quality of the pizza. Even though it is small, I love the decor and the personnel. Also when I go out for pizza, I go to eat pizza - Not to indulge in a massive salad bar and wings and pasta. Sorry, there are other restaurants for that. Trust me if you like made from scratch fresh pizza - Then go to Parton's !

Bad just bad.... Small place, gross salad bar selection, room temp pudding, and possibly the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. The buffet is poorly executed causing people to have to wait a long period of time between pizzas. If I had to eat here again I would rather go hungry. Also the customer base is low class.

A small slice of history on the west side of Fort Worth.. Parton?s Pizza is family owned and operated ?mom and pop style? pizza place. They have been in that location since 1968. Parton?s Pizza was one of the first pizza restaurants to open in Fort Worth. And I am sure they are the only mom and pop pizza place still in business. They only do thin crust pizza. No pasta. No delivery. But trust me it is worth the drive. The pizza is excellent and the price is very fair. Comparing Cici?s to Parton?s is like comparing Olive Garden to Chef Boy Ardee. Parton?s slogan is ?Made with pizza lovin? care?. And at Parton's they still care to serve the freshest ingredients. I would be very surprised to see anyone at Cici?s making dough or cooking sauce. Parton?s is certainly a blast from the past. It is a style of restaurant that has been replaced by the franchised corporations and mega chains. Parton?s has many loyal fans that grew up on the west side eating Sunny?s pizza. I am a 2nd generation Parton?s Pizza eater. My dad started taking us to eat there in 1970. Now my kids eat there, they are the 3rd generation. It is truly a small piece of history on the west side. When you go there look for Sunny; she will be the one with the heart shaped, diamond covered glasses, and her wonderful smile. It is her home cooked pizza sauce, fresh dough, and dedication to excellent ingredients that make the pizza so great.

average buffet place. Based on the recommendations that I read here I decided to give the place a try. I was highly disappointed when I got there. The place was small, which isn't a big deal to me, but the buffet offering was limited. I read here that there was pizza, tarts, a salad bar, and wings. Well the place didn't have tarts or wings. A huge disappointment because unlike Cici's they didn't offer much variety in their offerings.

It's true that you did get to specially request a pizza, and they are quite fast as it took them to get my order out in 5 minutes. However if you don't request a pizza specially made you'll be disappointed in the pizza's being offered. At anyone time I counted no more then 4 different pizzas at one time. Besides the salad bar the only thing they offered was tatter tots. The tots were baked and so they were just nasty tasting. The pizza was average at best. It taste better then Cici's pizza, but I would say the taste is no better then Pizza Inn's pizza.

At $6.00 per person (excluding a drink) it's not a bad price. If you live within 5 minutes of Patrons then by all means visit it. If you live further then that then my recommendation is to just visit your local Cici's pizza buffet because they have more variety, and better desserts.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Family-owned pizza shop serves freshly made ingredients in a corky, casual atmosphere, plus a lunch buffet.

Great Lil Place for Travelers. My wife and I travel often for the Airforce, and when we stopped into Fort Worth, we tried this pizza place and were pleasantly surprised by this restaraunt. First you notice that it is decorated very uniquely, we went before easter and there were bunnies everywhere. While eating we asked about the history, opened in 1968, the owner still comes in 2 times a week to prepare the spices, the dough is made fresh daily, and the buffet is a great value. You can request any pizza you want for the buffet! My wife and I like the quaint decor, and the food is good, and the staff was great. HIGHLY recommended.

After 10+ years, I am still in love with this place. I love this pop and mom own place. The theme is crazy changes year round according to holidays. Barbeque wings are very tastey as well. Pizza + salad bar + bbq wings + tarts, you can't go wrong with this place. You may not always get the same offer depends on the time you show up. The best time to have the best is Friday night and lunch time during the week. Other evenings, due to the amount of the customers or when you show up too late, you may not get the wings or even the tarts. I would recommend going to this place for lunch around 11:30 or dinner before 7:30pm. If you do go on Friday evenings, do show up early, they are normally packed by 6:30 and it'll be impossible to find seats sometimes.
