Kitchen Nightmare. Don't go here unless you are looking for bad atmosphere, so-so food, and a creepy feeling. Read on for more info.

My husband and I went for our anniversary because of the decent reviews I read on here. I should've checked the dates on the other reviews though because the most recent was from 2 years ago. We felt as if we were in an episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.

Upon entering, the air is sticky and hot and we cannot see or hear anyone in the restaurant. Honestly we were both a little creeped out and wondering what we've just walked into. We walked down the staircase and met up with the hostess station. The hostess walked us through the mostly empty restaurant (maybe 2 or 3 other tables were in use) past a table of employees that were doing more joking than working, and sat us in a creepy booth NEXT TO a table of loud college students. Of all the tables, this hostess sat us next to another table (why?).

The waitress finally came over and got our drink orders and told us about the salad bar. The lettuce was good, although swimming in water, but all the other toppings were mushy or gross (for example, all the cherry tomatoes were wrinkly and the cucumbers were soft). I tried some of the pasta "salad" they had out, but found it was nothing but bland cold pasta with no sauce or salt.

I was afraid to order a dish with meat in case it wouldn't be cooked properly and instead went with a pasta primavera dish while my husband ordered the manicotti. Our food arrived on a plastic rolling office cart with a squeaky wheel (Gordon Ramsey would be flipping out about now!).

The food was good considering how bad I thought it was going to be. My husband enjoyed his dish and mine was okay although it was swimming in its sauce.

We opted out of dessert since a new table was sat NEXT to us again and we wanted to eat dessert in peace.

I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. I'm hoping, for their sake, it was a bad night and not a regular occurrence for the atmosphere to be so creepy and food to be so-so.

Romantic, great food, very quaint. Italian Inn Ridglea has been there since '67 and the menu has expounded quite a bit, so those who were griping about the menu should look at the menu on the wall which has their original menu. They encourage you to sign the walls and it is neat to see and read about all the engagements, etc. It is reaking of memories and experiences. The food is always incredible.

Great atmosphere, romantic, amazing food. Great food, music, atmosphere. Whoever said they don't have tirimasu is wrong. They have a huge variety of deserts and one of my favorites is the tirimasu. My family are regulars there now. They are one of the best kept secrets in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I reccomend it to anyone.

Not Authentic!. I have been living in Naples, Italy for the past year and just moved back. I was very dissapointed in this restaurant. They didn't have Caprese on the appetizers, they didn't know what margarita or diavolo pizza was, and they didn't even have Tiramisu! I would say if your looking for authentic italian don't come here but if you are looking for a neat atmosphere and romantic setting then it's a pretty good spot.
