Chris Cook & Jason Minor did an outstanding job of working with me and coordinating the replacement of our roof. This included working with sub contractors to move the air conditioning units on the roof and replacing the window over the flat roof area. I appreciated Chris, Jason & Office Staff working with the insurance company to maximize the replacement cost.

You can do a LOT better. LON SMITH ROOFING??? LOL!! This guy and his wife started in Ft Worth some 30 yrs ago. Were a decent company. Then they got into all the motivation seminars and Tony Robbins type crap. Got to watching weather and whenever a big hail storm hit they would contact some little roofing company in area and go take over for few months while pickins were good. Hire bunch of nice looking frat boys from closest college. Put them in some hastily gathered little pickups and go sell-Sell-SELL!!! All that matters is the signed contract. The work can be done by what ever wet back or mangy homeless person they could find. Once lo hanging fruit is gone so are they. With some they sell their name. I know. I worked for them for 3 years.

Lon Smith Roofing - they will threaten you. We hired Lon Smit Roofing after considering several vendors to repair our roof (damaged by hail in Roanoke-TX).

The sales person informed they would take care of all paperwork with our insurance. On the sales person word - you do not have to deal with th insurance company at all.

We signed up for the service and agreed to pay the first check of the insurance sent + our deductible.

We payed as agreed on the contract and they they are threatening to send us to a collection agency to receive the depreciation check from the insurance.

The company calls, send letters and keeps intimidating me and my husband. We haven't yet receive the depreciation payment from the insurance, and no money should come our of our pocket for that (per contract).

For me, they did not fullfil their part of the deal. I have to be after the insurance every single day plus deal with their stupid letters and customer diservice people.

I would never do any work with them again, and I don't recommend that you do either.

Horrible customer service, do not work as promised and agreed via contract and makes you feel intimidated with their collection threats.

Lon Smith Roofing sucks!!. I wasted 3 weeks waiting for someone to show up to take a look at my roof. a week & a half on 1 guy. I called & complained, sick of the excuses & no call/ no shows. I got another guy who did the same thing!!

Dont give them the time of day! They are Horrible!! If they treat people this bad, I know they can't possibly fix anything with quality..customer service sucks!!

Stay far far away!!
