Excellent, Intelligent Treatment. Best Care for Pet & Owner.
We switched our Mini-Schnauzer to Dr. Sue's care after another Ft. Worth veterinarian missed diagnosing bladder stone symptoms for about a year and our dog ended up at the emergency vet on a
holiday.
We were very well satisfied with routine checkups, shots, teeth cleaning, some visits for allergies, etc. and then our dog became ill while we were traveling in Asia.
Our friend took him to Dr. Sue where he had a lymph node removed for a biopsy and it was determined to be lymphoma. Dr. Sue interrupted her day to take our calls from Asia several times and explain everything to us. (We per-arranged emergency care for our dog while we are away).
We came home early to care for the dog. Dr. Sue treated our dog for the cancer herself, consulting with an oncologist in Dallas (where we took him only once) and at A&M. It would have been a long trip and great hardship to take him elsewhere. I did a lot of reading and I was satisfied with her judgement, the drugs used, the timing, etc. Nevertheless, the cancer did not go into remission. Drugs bought him only another 4 months.
Most every time we left him at Central Animal Hospital in Fort Worth for a treatment, he'd be happily sitting on the lap of the receptionist when we came to pick him up. He is a very sweet dog and the last few months he was getting kisses & hugs from Dr. Sue and Suzy , the tech person every time he went in for a visit. We were encouraged to call in with a status after every treatment, if anything changed, etc. And, also to call at night or on weekends if there was anything urgent.
It is quite obvious that this Fort Worth veterinarian and her staff really care about their patients AND about the owners. Over the past 40 years I've taken my pets to many different veterinarians in the DFW area that I thought were good, but none of them compare to Dr. Sue.
I highly recommend Dr. Sue Hultman. She is as good as it gets.…
Sincerely cares!.
Our small dogs and cat are truly family members. We are PICKY about our vet! We've tried several in Arlington and Fort Worth and have settled on Central Animal Hospital.
Dr. Hultman and her staff genuinely care about our dogs and cat. They demonstrate this through their words AND actions.
Our cat was recently hit by a car and we had emotionally prepared ourselves to euthanize her; but Dr. Hultman suspected that her injuries didn't warrant euthanization and wanted to do a thorough exam and some observation first. It turned out that she has made a remarkable recovery and is now back to her old self.
The staff is knowledgeable, polite, and shows the same level of care and compassion as Dr. Hultman.…
The best vet and staff.
The staff at Central go above and beyond to care for your pets. A couple of years ago, I found a stray kitten. I decided to keep him, and took him to Central where I was told he had feline leukemia.
Being the owner of other cats, I couldn't risk their lives by keeping the little stray. I thought my only option was to put him to sleep. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make. When the staff saw how hard that decision was for me, they decided to keep him at the clinic until they could find someone who could care for him.
My cats have been patients of Central for over five years.…
