Inconsistant quality. I keep going back because it is the only place I know of near my house to get thai food. About 1 out of every five times it is good. Definitely NOT the best west of the Mississippi. For the prices they charge, it should be good everytime.

One of the top places for Thai in Fort Worth. The food is fabulous here! A HUGE menu for all tastes. I have been several times and the food is always impressed me. Never cold, veggies and other ingredients always fresh and appealing. The owners and wait staff are very personable and pleasant. The service has always been prompt and substitutions have never been a problem. I brought a friend who lived in Thailand for a year and she thought it was superb! I was sorry to hear that the folks from Houston gave it such a poor review. Don't let that dissuade you! The ambiance of the place is definitely lacking, but made up for in the food! The good side of the place, I have NEVER felt rushed, can sit and talk as long as you want!

a great compromise!!. i'm veggie and my boyfriend is a big meat eater. i loved the wheat glutten and he really enjoyed the meat dishes. it's a great place to satisfy us both.

In a word AWFUL. I was amazed to read the other very" possitive" review . Six of us, also from Houston, had dinner at Sunsurre last night. After reading the reveiw we anticipated a wonderful meal. From beginning to end this restaurant disappoints. The restaurant has absolutely no charm. You enter from a back door from the rear parking lot. The service was indifferent and painfully slow. Each dish came out separately with quite a wait between each dish. Some were hot ,some had been sitting on the counter for so long they were cold. The six of us know and love Thai food. A frozen Thai dinner from the supermarket would be far superior. The pad thai was a mass of overcooked pasty noodles. The masaman (sp?) was mostly soup with a few tiny shrimp swimming around and a couple of vegetables. The sate was pale and had little taste. The other dishes were equally lacking in taste and quality. Nothing gave the impression of having fresh ingredients. When my friend went to pay the bill he had to point out that he was being charged 3 times for the same dish. I've tried to think of something possitive to say about this restaurant but can't.

Best Thai food this side of the Mississippi. This place is phenomenal!!! The food is beyond words and is inexpensive! The atmosphere is anything but romantic, but that is of little concern when you eat here. Service is kept in the family and is always pleasant. I am from Houston and look forward to eating here whenever I visit the Metroplex area. A definite MUST TRY!! You won't be disappointed.
