great bar. Quiet place to hang with the locals and enjoy an adult beverage after along day with a few appetizers. Service was great beer was cold and the seafood was fresh what more can you ask for.

Great lunch specials. I visit this small cafe about twice a month just for their lunch specials.. catfish or shrimp baskets usually $5.95. Small? Yup. I'd say the booths sit twenty folks and the U shaped Oyster Bar handles another twelve or so. More tables…

Very Quaint!. The South Prairie Oyster Bar is rather small, but it packs a big punch. My wifes and Mother-in-laws favorite is the oysters on the half shell, always fresh, large and iced down served with lemon, crackers, cocktail sauce and horseradish. …
