Decided to give La Hacienda Ranch a try. We've passed it many times but never made it there until now. Love the ranch-style theme and decor. The first thing that impressed me was the smoky grill smell that seems to be piped to the front porch area. Gives you a huge hint of what to expect. Made me even hungrier! Walking in to the restaurant after you are hit with the wonderful smells from the grill you see the showcased area where they are making fresh homemade tortillas. Salsa and chips were really good! Zack was our waiter and did such an awesome job! Kudos Zack!!! We asked him to recommend something since it was our first time there. He suggested the beef fajitas, which was his favorite of the dishes served there. We chose the Fajita Feast (chicken and beef and shrimp) for two. We love fajitas and are picky about them. No worries here. The beef fajitas were so tender they melted in your mouth with the best flavor (marinated, smoky, simply delicious)! The chicken was also just as delicious. The best part was the shrimp, It was smoked, then grilled, OMG! wonderful. It was enough food to satisfy two people. AMAZING!!! Again, kudos to Zack! He was very busy but we were never neglected or had to wait for anything. He was very attentive, answered our questions and had a fun personality. We will definitely be back!!!
Best Steak I've Found.
I discovered this place driving by one day. I had been to another La Hacienda and thought the food was ok, I had fajitas at the other restaurant.
I tried a steak at this restaurant and it was one of the best steaks I've had. The "Double Diamond" filet. This steak is so tender and juicy you can cut it with a fork. It has a great grilled flavor that will make your mouth water for more. I always order a baked potato with the steak. The potato is fabulous. As of the time of this review the "Double Diamond" is about $30 (give or take a dollar or two), and worth every penny.
I treat myself to a "Double Diamond" once a week now.
Very Texas. I enjoyed the experience and the food was good, not but great. Super-big portions beyond your imagination, so if that's your thing, you should check it out.
Brisket taco. In addition to great steaks..try the brisket tacos..they are awesome! mike paget
Excellante. Great atmosphere and a good value. The service was top notch and was courteous and hlepful. The restrooms were very clean and the music was just at the right volume. I enjoyed this experieince and will come back over and over again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at La Hacienda Ranch in Colleyville.
5 Star Service!. As a woman traveling alone, sometimes walking into an unknown restaurant can be a little intimidating. When I walked in the doors at La Hacienda Ranch, however, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting I couldn't help but feel welcome. Right away, the bartender Jamie came from behind the bar to greet me while the hostess was seating another party so I didn't have to just stand there (great job, Jamie!). I was planning on carrying out that evening so he guided me to the bar nearby and promptly suggested a few of his favorite items from the menu. I took one of his recommendations and decided on the brisket sandwich, which I am so glad I did! It was the best I had ever had... Fresh bun and smokey flavor--exactly what I would have expected in Texas!! Thank you so much for La Hacienda Ranch for making me feel at home while I was away from home!

Fantastic. Best steaks in Texas. Never a bad meal. Hot and fresh food. I've had the catfish and that is excellent. Long lines outside, but worth the wait!
User review by alsportal1. The staff was upbeat and friendly, the service excellent, and the food-terrific! Best steak I have eaten in Dallas.
Inventor of the frozen margarita machine, Mariano Martinez, serves upscale Tex-Mex in his North Colleyville location..
In Short
Rustic log walls, animal heads and antler chandeliers adorn the interior of this faux ranch. Spicy salsa is smoky with a hint of chipotle. Tableside guacamole is fresh and just right with a dash of extra cilantro. Cheese enchiladas topped with chile con carne are meaty and not overly greasy. Fajitas are tender and sizzling with sweet, hickory-smoked onions. For dessert, pecan pie drizzled with bourbon and chocolate sauce served a la mode is a must.
