I've regretted the day I signed the lease for the past 9 months!.
The apartments look nice and tranquil, but looks (I've since found out) are extremely deceiving.
I've lived here for 9 months now, and the first month was the only one I've enjoyed. The last 8 have been plagued by neighbors who live directly below me. There are 2 apartments that are right next to each other who have the occupants both sitting outside at all hours of the night drinking beer and partying. Despite countless calls to the police and complaints to the management, I STILL have to live with this. In fact... They're down there at this minute (it's 11:25 pm on 20 APR 08)!!!!!!
The management either will not, or can not keep order. I've even gone so far as to be extremely tolerant, and let it go until 11:00 pm. I expect that is plenty late for people to be outside socializing. It's not good enough. They have to be out till 2 to 3 am. In spite of my desperate pleas to management to rectify this intolerable situation, it goes on...
I can say that everyone else who lives in units facing inside this courtyard are mature and respectful of the fact that they have neighbors trying to sleep. These 2 units below me are occupied with people who have brazen disrespect and absolutely no consideration for other people, and in the 8 months this has been going on... Walnut Creek management has not been able to resolve it.
They've offered to let me move my family to another unit (at my expense....)
I AM ASKED TO MOVE MY FAMILY IN ORDER TO ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO SIT OUTSIDE ALL NIGHT SOCIALIZING!!! It's an outrage!…
