DO NOT USE THOMPSON APPLIANCE. We called Thompson's out to repair our microwave went a sensor went out. A little over a month later, all three of the microwaves sensors went out, including the one they had just replaced. We were charged a service call fee for them to come out to determine what the problem was, and then charged again for the actual repair. We also had them repair our ice maker when they repaired the microwave the second time. Less than a month later, lo and behold, the ice maker is broken again. During that time frame, my wife and I moved from Arlington. Thompson's would not travel out to Aledo (our address is Aledo even though we live in West Fort Worth) to repair or replace the ice maker unless we agreed to pay a $50 surcharge for travel. Craig even had the audacity to tell me that if we moved the refrigerator back to Arlington, he would repair it for free. Thompson's has shown me that they have no consideration for their customers and that they apparently use shabby repair parts. Anyone considering using them should look elsewhere for quality parts and better customer service.

Don't Get Ripped Off. I had a technician come over to my house on 06/22/2010 and charge me $70 for a less than 5 minute diagnosis on my dishwasher. Then turned around to tell me I had no power without pulling the dishwasher out from underneath the cabinet. HOW CAN SOMEONE POSSIBLY DIAGNOSE A DISHWASHER WITHOUT PULLING IT OUT FROM UNDER THE CABINET? They wanted to charge another $80 to pull out the machine which I did myself in under 2 minutes. Don't get ripped off. I don't recommend this company to anyone because of their business practices and HIDDEN FEES.

Way better than the others. They were able to sell me a very nice upscale kitchen. I bought several items from them, because they also provide service to their customers unlike the other appliance chains around.

Poor service, don't care attitude, even if you buy your overpriced appliance there. Have done business with this company since 1997 and they have consistently delivered poor customer service over the years. No one ever knows what's going on and they don't bother to find out - all they say is they don't know. The last appliance I bought I made a choice not to buy from them again because they don't even give their own customers any better customer service - no priority on service, no benefit of the doubt, no real appreciation for having bought from them when you could have bought much cheaper at a big box. So this time we bought at Lowes. Unfortunately, our appliance needed a warranty repair, and who the the mfg send out? Thompson's. Again, through 3 weeks of repeated phone calls, they still don't have a clue. Then, after 3 weeks of rescheduled appointments that I waited patiently for, they called and told me they were refusing to handle my warranty service and they made a "mistake" and that the tech says it wasn't defective afterall after I finally voiced complaint that the process was taking too long and I called the mfg directly to complain. So what did they do? The told the mfg that I did not have a defective part "afterall" (the tech "made a mistake"), the mfg will only go by what they say, so I am screwed. The tech didn't even turn on the appliance. This was a deliberate, vindictive act to cover up their own stupidity. Never ever do business with this company. Twelve years later, they are still the same.

Most incompotent company ive ever dealt with. I called to have a repair done i was told they were scheduling for a week out, that was fine i could wait, then on my scheduled date they called and said they would have to reschedule i couldnt believe it! It took them three total trips to my house, 2 service call fee's, and my unit broke down again today, thats what i got for my 450.00. I called today to get them back out here and they said it was out of there warranty, and there would be another service call, i cant believe there still in buisnness. If your looking to get a repair done, dont waste your time call another company!
