A caring, compassionate doctor. My former doctor passed me through my appointments very quickly. He always made the correct diagnosis. I went to Dr. Hoffman when my regular doctor was absent. Dr. Hoffman came in and SAT DOWN! He spent a considerable amount of time with me although he'd never seen me before. He's now my PCP and has been for about 8 years. He's talked me through some nervous times and referred me to some great specialists. I trust my life with this man. What more can you say?…
Doesn't diagnose very well. We've been going to Hoffman because he took over for our previous doctor who moved. We have had ongoing problems with him because he blows off what you are telling him. He and his staff are terrible about documenting things in the file, so when you go back for a follow-up he has nothing to review for comparison. He tries to push you out the door as fast as possible with whatever he can quickly diagnose. You end up seeing him several times for the same problem because he doesn't listen and just guesses things off the top of his head without even considering patient history. If you go see him, make sure you take someone with you because he is better if there is a witness. If you are sick with something possibly life-threatening, don't go to him, because you will end up in the hospital.…
Be careful, stay away!. Be very careful with not only this Doctor but the entire clinic. they have a "get you through" as quick as possible mentality. when I ask questions just because I'm curious (it's my body why not), I get fustrated looks from Hoffman, as if you are holding him up from shuffling more people through the clinic. You want a doctor that treats you like he would his own son, or his own body. Will not find it here. Be careful and at whatever costs do NOT let this man cut on you for any reason.…
Best of the Best, Hands Down.
Back in 1997 I met Dr. Hoffman at a time when I was graduating high school and getting ready for college. At that time of my life, talking to a doctor about anything was the last thing I wanted to
do- until I met Dr. Hoffman. Rather than running in to the room- already with a diagnosis, he walked in SHOOK MY HAND and introduced himself. Then he showed and has always shown genuine interest in who I am, what I have been experiencing (sickness, stress, etc) and how to help. Dr. Hoffman has helped me transition into an adult by not only helping me when I am ill, but guiding me down a path for a healthy lifestyle. I truly feel blessed to have ever met him, and proud to call him my doctor.
Last night I found something that really alarmed myself, and my long term girlfriend. My family, having a long history with cancer, has made it clear how important it is to get things checked out as soon as I notice them. Today I sit here, terrified. But tomorrow I look forward to driving to Arlington to the one person I know will always shoot me straight, tell the truth, and make sure I am taken care of. Most likely the outcome will be nothing- but no matter what, Dr. Hoffman is truly one in a million, and I can't think of a better person to talk about my personal well being.
I wish I could spell it out in the sky so everyone could understand- to be able to openly and honetsly discuss concerns with a doctor is truly priceless- Dr. Hoffman is truly a stand out in his field- and the only person I will trust myself and my family with- for the rest of my life.

Great family doctor!. I have been going to FHCA for 25 yrs, since I was 8. Since 1997 I've been going to Dr. Hoffman. He has been my kid's doctor since they were born. I think he's honest and he certainly cares. He's easy to talk to and I'm glad he's our doctor.…
