The service was very bad. I will not be coming back again.

LOVE BURT GRANT SALON. My hair stylist left me. She remarried and moved far away. All alone and lost I went to a very expensive salon, who I won't call out, willing to pay the ARTist whatever it cost for the sake OF my HAIR.

My hair looked bad. The color was off it looked cheap and I felt like hiding from everyone.

I called Burt Grant and believe me I was rude. I asked every question and I was not at all polite. The receptionist, Jessie, was so sweet. My rudeness did not phase her at all. Jessie listened to my story and hooked me up with the best colorist Sara J. Sara J took the time to formulate my color did highlight, lowlight, and break base?. She knew alot of techniques for color. She fixed my hair and she cuts good too.

I really like my hair!! It looks great and I get compliments on it all the time. I really appreciate Jessie and Sara for listening to me when I was rude and figuring out what I really wanted.

Awesome Makeup Artist!. My wedding was in late September and I had Katy Armstrong do the makeup; not only for myself, but my enitre bridal party. That was a very smart decision!

I loved, LOVED my makeup and received tons of compliments! It stayed on perfectly, even with the tears, all night long. My groom loved the makeup!

I highly recommend going to Katy for makeup! You'll walk out picture ready and looking like a model!

Dreamy Facial. Katy Armstrong did my facial recently and it was just amazing. She has a way of making you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Her knowledge of Aveda products answers any question you may have regarding skin care. My skin never felt more alive! Thanks Katy!!!!!

Best brazilian ever!. I've always been hesitant about getting a brazilian after a bad experience my first time but I did my research this time and asked around for reccomendations. My friend told me about Katy and raved about how great she was so I decided to give her a shot. The spa was quaint but relaxing and Katy was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I won't go in to too much detail but it was way easier than I expected. The results were great and long lasting. I will be back for sure and can't wait to get a facial from her as well.

You won't get what you want. My wife went to Burt Grant for a couple of years but over time the stylists that she preferred left. Other stylists in the salon had been able to touch up an existing haircut that needs only a trim; however you will not get what you want if you change styles, EVEN WITH PICTURES.

Most recently, she went to get a significant amount of length removed. Using multiple old pictures of herself, she showed her stylist EXACTLY what she wanted. The stylist, who claimed to be very experienced, reassured her that the cut could be reproduced, no problem. Unfortunately, after giving her the wrong cut at the wrong length, this stylist admitted that she always substitutes her own judgment for the client's.

So, if you have no preference for your hair, this is a good place to go. If you want to get the haircut you requested, look somewhere else.

Great Job!. Amanda does the best color I have ever had. I live in Dallas and cannot find anyone who does hair better than her! The spa pedicure is phenomenal! I always walk away feeling beautiful and relaxed. I make the 30 minute drive quite often and it is worth it. I will never go back to using those overpriced salons in the City.

Never again. I used to be regular at this salon when my old colorist was still there. She moved repeatedly and after a couple of years we lost touch. Thinking how great Burt Grant was, I decided to just find a new colorist there, since my prior experiences were all wonderful. I was booked with a girl named Brittany, and she was awful. She had an attitude to begin with, and she turned my hair bozo orange, when all I needed was for her to do a root touch up to make it blonde. While I was crying in her chair after seeing what she did, she just said the color was "pretty" and didn't even try to fix it. She told me if i was still unhappy in a week, to come back and she would tone it. WTF? I told her I would go somewhere else to get it fixed, as I was not living for even one day with orange hair. AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NEVER RETURN.

Only for Up-do's. The salon is in an neat, but old house. Tudor, perhaps? I've tried the salon several times - waxing, haircut, color, and makeup for an event. Besides one stylist who does awesome updo's, I'm not impressed. I'll start with the stylist, whose name I'll add another time as I can't recall it at this moment. My daughter has been to her for several up-do's. A few times we've had to try other stylist because our favorite was not available. Turns out, she has a full time job with a major airline company and works as a stylist part time. She ALWAYS creates what my daughter requests. We always have our hair done late morning, and the up-do will last all thru late night without a problem! Other stylists (this salon and elsewhere) up-do's have never made to the event before starting to fall apart! Besides our favorite stylist for up-dos, I"m not impressed with the salon. The stylist I've tried, I never like their haircuts. But, even more frustrating is the house itself. It is quite cramp trying to make room for enough stylist stations. When I had my hair colored, I was asked to sit in a chair over by a window... which was very uncomfortable with the airconditioning from the floor vent blowing on me. And I was cramped in between 2 stations working on clients. I could tell there was no where else to sit, while my stylist squeezed in another appointment in her chair while my color took. The wax jobs at the sink are uncomfortable -- people walking right by my head and feet, watching it all going on (I feel waxing is a little personnal), and the lighting in the salon is dim, which makes me question the ability to correctly color my hair. Cramp and dim settings, except the reception and if your lucky to get a cut in the back house. I don't recommend this place, even though I see some stylish women leaving the place. I think even if it is my bad luck to get the bottom stylist, I don't like the setting as a salon.

Bad wax experience. The salon seemed nice and I made an appointment to get an eyebrow and lip wax. I was scheduled with one person and then I when I got there they had changed me to someone else, which I really didn't like. Then when the girl came to get me she took me to the shampoo station and told me to lay down there in the sink where you wash hair. So there I am in the open with guys and people walking around while I am getting my lip waxed, it was a horrible feeling. I will definitely not go back for any type of waxing.
