This serene spa and salon in Arlington takes its name seriously: It's from the Latin for "heavenly place.".
In Short
This spa looks like a greenhouse from the outside; greenery surrounds the stark white building, which boasts an atrium-like wall of curved windows. Inside, new-age music, aromatherapy, neutral colors and a water scene mural soothe. The sunlit Tea Room offers refreshments and spa lunches. Airbrush tanning, airbrush all-day makeup and airbrush tattoos are some of the more unique offerings. Popular services include hot stone massages, manicures for men and detox body wraps.
