Great place to get your hair done.

Small salon with great stylists. Everyone is so friendly and listens to what you want done with your hair then follows through. Great with head massage, hair color, cuts, and styling. I will continue to get my hair done there every time. Try it. You'll love it too.
- Pros: A happy place. Hair always looks good when I leave.
- Cons: Only drawback: Road construction due to the Cowboy Stadium.
Made me feel brand new~

Had a great haircut recently at Maren Karsen and won't hesitate to return in several weeks. I wanted some layers (which I haven't had for a long time) and what's called a "swoop" bang...LOL. Anyway the cut brings out the shape of my face better and I really love it. Sydni does a great job and is so sweet! Keep up the good work.

- Pros: Friendly folks! Skilled haircutters.
- Cons: the stadium construction is a pain but hopefully that'll be finished soon.
Badly run, overcharges, do not go to this salon
by LauraToo at Citysearch
It was my sisters wedding day. We called over a month ahead of time to make an appointment. We were given the prices of how much the 3 updo's would cost. My sister (the bride) only got curls and no updo so they said it would be $45 (the price for styling, not an updo).
When it came down to paying, they charged my sister $65 not including tip. When I asked the front desk coordinator (Vicki), she said hers was the most expensive because "she's the bride". So if I said I was the bride, they would charge me $20 more than they told me??
I called the owner 2 days later and told him what happened. He said he would look into it and call me back. It's been 2 weeks and I still have not heard from him.
Do not go to this salon. They are not worthy of the Aveda name.
- Pros: Right off the freeway (I-30)
- Cons: Family run. They don't care about anyone but themselves.
