Delicious!. Me and my boyfriend went here for valentines day and were expecting to spend quite a bit of money on a nice steak dinner for the holiday. We wanted to try somewhere new, we normally go to saltgrass. To our pleasant surprise, they had a two dinner special for 25 dollars! This included a steak dinner each w/ a side and salad and an apetizer to share. With our drinks we only spent 31 dollars plus tip on our valentines dinner and it was delicious! we had the 8 oz smoked sirloin which was very very good, tender, and cooked perfectly the entire thing. red and juicy. anyways....great deal for a great meal. the only thing was....which i wish i could have put 4.5 stars but thought it was worth more than 4 so i put five....is that when i ordered my salad she said they were out of ranch. crazy!!! and was upsetting. but who knows, maybe it was a busy valentines night on the ranch.

NEEDS HELP. Texas Land & Cattle in Arlington, TX is a very cold restaurant. The bar area leaves a lot to be desired, including the "teeny weeny martini glasses!" Don't try the quail or the enchiladas. Quail were too LARGE - enchiladas were COLD. To serve anything with cheese you have to serve it on a VERY HOT PLATE in order for the cheese to stay melted. We will not go there again!

Texas Land and Cattle Company. We went here for a special occasion celebration at 4:00 on Sat. afternoon 6/7/08. It was not busy. We were given a table on the busy aisle. There were many other tables in the place empty. The chairs were dirty and I got something all over my slacks -- ice cream from a former client. The hostess could have cared less. We told her the chairs were dirty and she just looked at us. We changed to another chair at the same table while she stood there like this was the only table in the restaurant. When two things happened and the hostess did nothing, and we were visably disturbed, we got up and left and will NEVER go back there again. It was not clean. We went to Trail Dust and had an excellent steak instead.

Delicious seafood. My family enjoyed the various seafood selection. Considering this is a steak place, was surprised to see they had a lot of seafood choices on the menu.

Excellent Steak House. Great Steakhouse with wonderful ambience. I went with my family and we had a very satisfying meal. The Cattleman's Ribeye came highly recommended, and my husband was NOT disappointed. I had the Chicken Fried Steak which was so tender, it melted in my mouth. We really liked the decor and ambience and will definitley go back. The prices were reasonable and the service was great!

Good and bad. Sometimes the steaks are good but they have also been bad, but I'm going to try again, since I get

a free appetizer.

Wedge Salad, Tender Filets. If it's anything like the Dairy Ashford location in Houston, it's great. The Houston location's wedge salad with diced tomatos, real bacon bits and blue cheese dressing is to die for.

I Wasn't Impressed. Because of the rating and reviews my husband and I decided to try Texas Land & Cattle (we're new to Texas). We were seated immediately, which was nice, but it ended there. I ordered the sirloin and lobster. I know that sirloins aren't the best cut of meat, but I order them everywhere I go. This sirloin was mostly fat. I could barely cut it. The lobster was okay. Not the best I've ever had, but it was tasty. My husband had a filet that was good, but not impressive. There was a very large party that continued to scream throughout our entire meal. I know that isn't the restaurant's fault, but they could have asked them to quiet down. My 4 month old generally sleeps through our meals, but every time these people screamed, so did he, so we ate and left as quickly as possible. We'll stick to Salt Grass for our steaks from now on.

Editorial Review. A Southwestern chain serving tender steaks, sandwiches, appetizers and a full kids menu in a bustling, family-style eatery.

TLC. Went to 6 flags and got hungry. I thought that this would be another chain like Bonanza or Western Sizzlin so I ordered a burger. It was the best burger I ever tasted. My son ordered a child's steak. It was as good a cut and prepared as well as my wife's steak. Our waitress and the manager were perfect. I tasted my wife's steak and it was every bit as good, if not better than Morton's in Chicago.
