Local CHEERS. Ace of Clubs is Arlington's "Cheers" If they know you, they call you by name. If they don't, they introduce themselves. They greet you when you walk in, tell you so long, have a great day (or night) and come back to see them when you leave. Good music, dance floor, pool tables (4). Great place to take a date.

Glenn Williams & Midnight Rodeo. I enjoyed the experience I shared with a few friends at the Ace of Clubs in Arlington. While it was a bit smoky for my taste, the drinks were cold, low-priced and the people were fun. However, the most surprising thing was the band. The band played a range of country music from the latest hits to some older tunes. Their sound was great - like they should be playing in much bigger clubs. Several of the bands I have seen in the Fort Worth Stockyards are nowhere near as good as these guys. I am sure you will hear more about them in the future, but for now, I would take a night to head to the Ace of Clubs in Arlington. This might be the only time you will be able to catch this great band and not have to pay a cover or $3 for a beer!
