You should read their lengthy contract before signing!!. After over two years as a customer my wife and i decided we no longer needed ASG's security monitoring service as we both had retired and needed to cut our expenses. We called and notified ASG to stop the service and were told that we were bound by the original contract we signed over two years ago which stated that after two years of service we could terminate the contract but only if we notified ASG by letter and the letter must be sent during March. Further if the letter is not received during March then the contract is extended for another year automatically!!! Needless to say I should have read the contract before I signed it. However our house had an active alarm system when we bought it. ASG did not install any wiring, any components or any equipment. They were retained to simply provide monitoring services. We thought we

were entering into a month by month agreement. Shame on us for not reading the agreement, double shame on ASG for such deceptive business practices, Misleading at best, dishonest at worst. My nest stop is the better business website,.
