Tips for CDL Rental

April 17, 2013

After a lot of homework, I decided to pull the trigger and call CDL Rental TX, in Weatherford. I had the opportunity to get a job as a ups driver. After research on all the truck driver training schools I knew there had to be a simpler less expensive, and less time consuming way to get my class A cdl. There are lower priced cdl truck rentals on the market, but like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. With that advice I started reading reviews on cdl rental truck companies before pulling the trigger.

Well that was enough, time to find a cdl truck rental service that offers cdl training and help me obtain getting my commercial drivers license. I read the reviews enough times to make my decision and I clicked on cdl rentals website, I'm glad I did. After a few times of reading their website and speaking with them on the phone, all I can say is why doesn't everyone use them?!?! And that's no bull! I sat there reading reviews saying to myself, that seems pre written or written just to get them to use their service.

Well if that's you, take it from me this company works! They met me, got me familiar with my cdl test and assisted me with getting my cdl license. Why don't you call and speak to them? I'm glad I did. In the short amount of time it takes to get use to the vehicle, and to pass the cdl road test it is well worth the time and effort to go to Weatherford, Texas. You'll be glad you did! I feel that getting my cdl will pay for itself within a few weeks. Bottom line...I recommend this company to everyone. Try It! They work!

The service I received from CDL Rental TX in Weatherford, Texas was very helpful. The cdl lesson I received from the instructor, was well worth the price and effort. He went over all the road course with me before the day of my cdl test, and I received the practice I needed to pass my test. It was good to work with a company that takes pride in what they do for other people. Thanks a lot for all the help and advise. I will be sending people your way. Chad

CDL Rental met me last weekend and went over all the cdl road test with me. They gave me the instruction I needed to pass my truck driving test. Took my cdl test this week and passed on the first try. For me these guys where well worth the drive up to north Texas.

WOW, Arron T. just read your review, seriously man, you did not use this company.

Quit taking advantage of your customers. Karma will come back to bite you. This company took my money with a great line of BS. Went to the driver license office and their piece of crap truck could not pass the driver license examiner's inspection therefore I had to reschedule. Now another day off work. Then I was given 25 minutes to practice because they arrived late. The guy smelled like beer and hadn't showered in several days. I failed the road test. Then the price went up to come back a third time. I found another company that charged way less. I hired them & passed. RUN RUN RUN from this company. They ripped me off & I'm sure I wasn't the first. Funny how all their reviews are close in the date. Seems the company put them on her themselves. RIPOFFS!

Good Guy-Little Expensive. Had driven for yrs. Let license expire some ten yrs ago. Got with CDL Rentals. Spent couple hours practicing backing and other stuff required by state. Met next day. Some fruit fly civilian came out to give me test. Nice looking young chick showing off her body. Must have had fight with boyfriend night before. Never smiled. Found fault with things that don't count on test. Wound up giving me an 81. I drove OD freight for 20 yrs. windmill blades, compressor stations, etc. And this bimbo gives me that. Was heading in to give supervisor an earful on this loser, but passing is passing so I just got my new ticket and left.

Truck is automatic. In TX that is ok. Some states will put that stipulation on your license. Auto only.

Overall good experience except with Gov employee. Imagine that. LOL!!

Best in Texas. This is a basic mom & pop operation that wants you to get your CDL. I attended a regular truck school($4000) with instructors who get their kicks not training you, but want to get on your case about not just "getting it". CDL Rental is the opposite! They have everything you need at a fraction of the cost($475)!

CDL Rental is NOT out of Busniess. I went on city search and pulled up cdl rental and the site told me that this business was closed. I called them up anyway to find out if this was true, because so many of my friends and bragged about how well the instructed on the cdl road test. I surprised me when the lady on the other end of the phone answered and told me they were not closed and the would be happy to assist me. I took all my written tests first and then I called her back and they walked me through the road test step by step. I now have my Commercial Drivers License and my own truck. Thanks

Texas best road test assistance for Class A CDL. Our business needed CDL drivers, so we called CDL Rental in Weatherford, TX, to help a couple of our employees get their commercial drivers license. They went over all the test with them and instructed them on how to parallel park, & straight back a combination vehicle. Within a week my employees had their license, and were able to start driving our trucks. Our customers were happy we delivered their orders on time. I wouldn't hesitate to call CDL Rental to get a CDL Class A license. They truly know what they are doing.
