The Wrong Genghis to go too :-(. First Off let me say I LOVE Genghis grill and Mongolian style kitchen's, but saturday 02/26/2011 was the last time I will visit the Genghis Off of N. Freeway and Western Center Blvd.. Upon my wife and I entering we were over come by the smell of what I believed to be VERY RE-USED old mop water and rag water....It stunk so bad it ruined the experience.. There was food on the floor all over the place (really.!). The Manager appeared scruffy and wrinkled tucked in shirt no Belt And making jokes about sexual prefrences to the bartender.. (the Manager).. Maybe im old but come on... Everything looked and felt sticky (chairs, tables etc....) If I were the owner (Chalak investments) I would overhaul my staff, and get a manager who would run it right.. The price is high for Mongolian (10.00-13.99USD), but ok if the above issues were fixed...Plus the place was packed with staff,, but they just ignored the guest,, I even had to walk up and get my own bowl before it got cold.. It appeared that the rest of the staff were young and probably all party buddies,,,lead by the old burn out... I saw the previous reviews and I must say they appear to be written by Employees or the owner,,,,, because there is no way that we are talking about the same Genghis Grill.>!! I am a true customer and took the time to write this because it was that bad...

Fill the bowl to sooth your Soul! AHHH!. I recently went to the Grill for lunch and it was amazing.. you stand in a line and create your own flavor...and you can start out making one of their dishes and replace it with your favorite seasonings... I had the most amazing Ginger Chicken .. and in stead of creating a Thai chicken with peanut butter curry .. i just simply replaced that with Ginger.. i almost licked the bowl IT IS SO CHEAP! I couldnt believe for two dollars more you can have all you can eat.. and they have Alchohol so you can make it a PARTY> The atmosphere is intimate yet casual and there is a mix of clients there from college age to middle aged eclectic people. I had been to a similiar place in NY and hated it.. but this place is AMAZING.. you have to go and please dont lick your bowl... people will stare.. but i know that you would want to .. so just fill it again.. GO NOW!

Genghis Grill Never Fail To Deliver! Always Great!. The staff at my favorite Genghis Grill is by far the most enthusiastic, helpful and genuinely interested in your satisfaction. This is my 3rd (maybe 4th) time at this particular location, and it never ceases to please. It's like having a different cuisine everytime you go. It's such a fun place to go - make your own bowl, put in the ingredients that you like, and let it cook - this time, it was shrimp, scallps, and khan's krab, with vegetables, and Terikyaki, and a spicy ginger - yes, if no one had been looking I would have licked the bowl. They're really on to something here - inexpensive, easy on the pocketbook, great staff who love their jobs, You can have alcoholic beverages, or bring your family - it's a great place to go for lunch or dinner - another great experience!
