What People Are Saying About Biscuits Cafe

In Short – With a handful of locations already up-and-running in the Portland and Oregon City area, Biscuits Cafe owners and lifelong restaurateurs Ed and Barbara Preston have brought their breakfast and lunch specialty shop down south to Grapevine. The café-style interior has an open kitchen allowing for the aroma of fresh breakfast food to waft throughout as the menu offers the very best in omelets, biscuits and gravy, soups, salads, sandwiches and gourmet hamburgers for lunch.

On the Menu:
Ask about the renowned "freezer jams" to go with your order.

Lousy from start to finish

by Lord V at Citysearch

Overpriced, terrible service, generally poor food. Pancakes were like cardboard, eggs reminded me of Army rations. I ate there three hours ago and my stomach is still upset. The silverware is dirty, and I don't mean water spots, but chucks of food. I had to ask for three different sets before I found one where all the implements were clean.

Avoid this place like the plague!

An OVERPRICED Disappointment

by texwashere at Citysearch

I felt cheated. How do you screw up breakfast? I am not that particular, however, I should have read the reviews before going. The restaurant itself was clean very well lit with natural light. Very noisy. Out of silverware. Coffee tasted rank. Shrimp Omelet was a terrible $9 mistake. The over generous portion Hash-browns were under cooked. Could not eat them. Their biscuits were small and served at room temperature. I have had a better breakfast at jack in the box.

Overpriced

OVERPRICED, not that good, breakfast was OK, too expensive. Very Poor value. Don't come in from out of town to act like a diner with $10.00 basic breakfast plates. Lunch also poor value, overpriced. $10.00 hamburgers

Highest prices worst breakfast

by zitomj at Citysearch

This was, without question, the worst breakfast I have ever ordered. Thick bacon, cold, deep fried and dripping with oil, potatoes to make you die and everything we ordered was left on the plate because of poor quality or taste. Breakfast for two, eggs, potatoes, meat and toast with coffee was over $21. Without question the most expensive in the area. We came hungry and we left hungry. Haven't a clue why people are waiting in line to get in.

  • Pros: nice location
  • Cons: high prices bad food
