Elevating the area's nightclub scene to world-class status. Creating a true hot spot where high-profile patrons can eat, drink and dance in
simmering, sumptuous style. Oh yeah, and collecting the largest variety of tequilas in Texas. Yeah, we've got 'em. Unless you've been in a coma since September 20th, you probably have heard about my nightly live music and hot live groups. I serve up everything from country to blues to rock n' roll - all coming at you via state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video systems. If you think you understand what it's like to be a part of the pulsating rhythm of a Glass Cactus night, think again. It's an experience you're not likely to find elsewhere.
Did I mention the 13,000 square feet of outdoor lake-front patios, 1,200 foot dance floor, unique, signature bars and state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video systems. And you want to watch a movie...why?

I will take my cozy regular bars any day over this one. Not Impressed..I rarely get to go out being a mom. Last night I was invited by my sister in law to go to see the Spazmatics because we both love 80's music. We also had heard all kinds of great things about the place. We got there at 930pm, and had to wait in a long line with it still being 100 degrees outside. DO NOT WEAR HEALS. I had read on the website you are not permitted to wear flip flops so since we were having a girls night I dressed up with the heals and all. Unless you have a VIP/Reserved over priced membership you will not find anywhere to sit. Upstairs is not available without it, and the entire middle of the club and ground seating is all reserved only. There are few little tables and you have to be there in seconds to get it. You can sit outside, but not good if you are in TEXAS hello and it is still 100 degrees when it's dark. So I had my shoes off in 15 min of being there. The beers for a Miller light were 5.00 each and I don't think I have paid that much for one beer in my life. After 1030 I had to wait 30 min to get through the crowd to the bar. And unless you are VIP no waitresses will help you. I must say the snooty gold digger crowd was amusing. Other then that and the awesome band I was not impressed and will not be going back. The only thing I would recommend is the band.…
Most original nightclub/bar I have been to in Dallas. Great place...I was surprised how incredible the view was...good-looking staff! Have not seen this many good-looking people in Dallas since I have been to the Glass Cactus, the staff is also very down-to-earth- not like other bars and clubs I have been to in Dallas. I had a problem, but when I notified one of the VIP concierge..I think her name was Roya..? (HOT!), she got a manager and immediately they fixed the problem. I will be back for my next round of fun when I return back to Dallas for business!…
Fun place. It is an over the top but fun place. Much like the entire Gaylord hotel. It is giant Texas sized big and they do a good job with it. I had a great time there.
Totally Average place with ridiculous attitude. This place thinks its in Beverly Hills or something! If it were, it would be out of business. If you are a country bumbkin thats never left the state, youmight think its cool. If you have been to LA or New York this place will make you laugh the moment you arrive and pay 20 bucks to valet even though there is no shortage of land for parking-ripoff!…
