Food tastes just like Chicago. but the service is horrible.
Well I was excited to actually have a Chicago pizza that actually tastes like Chicago pizza here in north Texas. The major problem is the absolute horrible service.
This fact is based on several occasions and numerous atempts to order delivery. First time they gave us the wrong pizza. Then gave us a credit for another time which they would not honor the same kind of pizza when we tried, just the cheese.
They say 30-45 minutes delivery and it really takes 1.5 hours.
They really need to change their service to make this place successful
Bad food. Called in on Friday at around 5:30pm. Ordered the meatball sandwich and the fried vegetable appetizer. Arrived when they stated it would. The sandwich was old, the french fries were old and the beans that were supposed to come with it did not arrive. The vegetables were fried in old grease with the coating falling off. For all the advertisement that they do they should save a little money and hire a chef or at least someone that knows how food should be cooked. So sad I was looking forward to ordering pizza from them, but will look elsewhere. Predict that this place will not stay in business.
Great Italian for both quantity and quality. I went to Little Joes for lunch with a co-worker. The service was exactly as the server had advised (a bit slow) and did his best to get it to the table for us in a timely manner. He promptly brought out the bread and let us test both kinds of soup that were thinking of trying. We had ordered pasta and were more than satified with the flavor. The texture was a plus. It was hot, fresh and had a heaping helping of cheese; a smidgeon more than I would put on at home (that's a good thing). For the quantity of food that you receive, it is well worth the money and the red sauce is the best I have ever tasted. If you're in a hurry, I would advise calling ahead. If some of the best places are what you call "a hole in the wall"; this is it. Don't expect twinkle toes service when you already are getting a killer deal on the food. The "ambience" may not be served on an italian bistro style table, but it has a wonderful hand painted trompe l'oeil wall mural worth checking out. In my opinion, we live in a drive-thru world and never take the time to smell the roses...or in this case, some good old fashioned pasta. You just have to take it as it comes with no more expectations other than a pleased palate...and I guarantee, you will once more return when you are not in such a rush. Don't be afraid to take a chance and good things come to those who wait. Another must is Enrique's for some great fajitas (208 N Main St, Keller, TX 76248) and waitress is refreshingly rude...gotta eat it to believe it. PegglySue
Poor Service, Stupid Employees. Having read a couple of interesting things about Little Joe's "FAMOUS" pizza, I picked up a menu on my way home from work one night. I immediately noticed that they stated a deep dish or Chicago style (the differences between the two they didn't describe in the menu for some odd reason) pizzas take a whopping 45 to 60 minutes to prepare. Ooookay...so not exactly customer friendly there, but whatever. So, we call in a two topping deep dish pizza and say we'll be there in 45 minutes to eat in. When we arrive, an elderly lady takes us to a table in the BLAZING HOT restaurant. I mean it was warm in there, and there were multiple ceiling fans which were powered down. Soooo...my wife asks gandma if she could maybe flip a switch and get some air moving in that sauna, and we're told by her that she doesn't know anything about the ceiling fans. Luckily, another waitress came dashing by who was able to turn one on so we didn't suffocate. By the time we found someone to take our drink order, as no one seemed to be too interested in helping us out, we asked that the appetizer we also ordered by phone be brought out before the pizza. Five minutes later, our pizza comes out by itself, no appetizer. And, you guessed it, the nasty, greasy looking pizza was WRONG, as in they put the wrong stuff on it. Even though I had it repeated back to me on the phone when I called it in. Do they offer to compensate us in any way? Heavens no. The only option we're told that we have is to WAIT ANOTHER 45 MINUTES for them to redo it. Uhhh...no. So, we left and drove 5 minutes over to Double Dave's Pizza on Hwy. 377, which was outstanding. Go there instead, and let Little Joe's figure out how to run a restaurant.
Authentic Deep Dish Chicago Pizza AND MORE!.
I have been to Little Joe's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You must try the Chicago-style pizza, however it takes about 45 minutes to cook once you order it. The thin crust pizza is also excellent and comes to the table more quickly.
The burgers are big and delicious, and the sausage parm is spectacular.
I also enjoyed the omlette with a side of breakfast potatoes.
