Consistently Excellent. I've got to say that I have been coming to Tex's for a number of years now and have never been disappointed. The owner strives for excellence and even displays the exemplary cleanliness ratings that they regularly receive. The food is always top notch and I can't think of anything that I've had there that I didn't really enjoy. My favorites are the Ruben and the Greek Salad. You can't go wrong with this place.

BEST BURGER I EVER HAD!!!!!!. I went to Tex's one day because it came highly recommended. I was TOTALLY happy, I lived in Los Angeles and New York and Tex's Star Grill BUGERS hold there own. I will go back.......

Disappointing!. We tried Tex's Star Grill for lunch today with our daughters because we had coupons and pass them several times per week. We ordered #11 Patty Melt Combo, #6 Gyro Sandwich Combo and the #9 Chicken Tenders Combo. When a 4 & 5 year old will not eat chicken tenders and fries you know the food is bad! The fries tasted undercooked and we did not care for whatever seasoning they put on them. The ranch dressing is very thick like paste and nasty. My girls also hated the chicken tenders. I had the patty melt combo and the bread was nasty and way too much cheese on the burger, (and I love cheese but this was overkill to where the burger was basically like a grilled cheese with onions and a hint of the burger). I also had the onion rings, they were a little slimy. My husband had the gyro and it was just the meat and tons of onions with sauce. The meat was not well cooked and the cucumber sauce was too thick and bland. He said the seasoning blend on the onion rings were also bland and unappealing. In our family's opinion it was a waste of money and we will not be back.

Best Overall Experience. Best overall experience sums it up. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean, the food is ALWAYS wonderful, and the service is the BEST. Tex's Star Grill has a great variety of items from hamburgers and gyros sandwiches to chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. One of my husbands favorites are the spicey fried dill pickle chips and the home sauce is great! Another plus is that its affordable and you NEVER leave hungry. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. It is very apparent that the owner takes much pride in his restaurant.
