Good tech, poor business.
Metal Rehab is an ok place to take your hardware to have it stripped and even primed - if you so choose - using their environmentally friendly chemical solution dipping process. Technically anyway. The folk knew what they were talking about and didn't mind talking tech for a few minutes at dropoff/pickup.
That said, their business sense is lacking. I was given a quote that wasn't adhered to. When I inquired as to why, I was told that their prices had increased and that the quote was only good for 30 days. This was something that I was not told. They said that they'd work with me on the price a bit since I had a lower quote but at dropoff no attempt to do that was made. Finally, they require a 50% down payment at dropoff. In a way I can understand that, but I should have been told that PRIOR to driving to their facility for the dropoff, but I wasn't. So it was a surprise and not a pleasant one. Fortunately they take a card, so I was able to pay the half-down or else my drive would have been for nothing.
In the end, they're technically good, but if you use their services get an exact quote with an expiration date and ask about the 50% payment due at dropoff. Then ask if there are going to be any further surprises just to be sure.
I hope that these folk learn how to do business. They seemed friendly enough and I'd like to see them succeed but based on their lack of business savvy I can only give them a 2 out of 5 stars rating, and that is based solely on their technical ability.
