Best Latin American Food. Best food in Dallas. This restaurant is wonderful! Great Food and Service.
Yum!.
I love the patio @ Gloria's during spring & summer. It's a great value to be able to select from so many healthy choices without sacrificing flavor.
I wish the servers spoke better English, but I'll still take it. Oh, and happy hour is awesome :-)
I ABSOLUTELY LOOOVE GLORIAS RESTAURANT!!.
the place is wonderful, to the food for dinner, thru the drinks for socializing, and also the dancing on the weekends!
its great! what more could a person ask for??
In detail,
the last few times ive gone i get the sourcream chicken enchiladas! which are to die for!
I have also had their tostadas, which are good too.
I love their mango margaritas.
Also, on the weekends, they have an hour of free salsa lessons! which is great!
I just ate there last night and hope to go again tonight!
lol,
yes, im addicted.
Best Salsa Dancing!!.
Hello All,
I was reading the only two reviews Gloria's recieved, and thought I'd give my input since I'm there every weekend! To start off, everyone has there opinion, but i'm not sure if what some people put on here is accurate as in I think a lot of these reviews are from other competition, or something of that nature. Anyways, a few of my fav's at Glorias would have to be the pupusa's, they are phenomenal! Also, they have black bean and cheese quesadillas, which is what I usually always order. As far as enchiladas, the sour cream chicken enchiladas are great, and for dessert, I would definantely go with the chocolate flan!! Yum! This place is addicting, and although I wish there hot sauce was a little spicier, everything else seems to be perfect! The bands of the weekends are great, the salsa lessons are awesome! What more could you ask for?
Great Food, Great Dancing!. My girlfriends and I frequent Gloria's after a long day of work and we absolutely love it!!! They hold Salsa Dancing classes on Fridays and Saturdays and it makes for a great time! If you want a great place to go with some friends then I would highly recommend this place!!
Just as blah as we remembered, a little snotty service-wait 20 min for the check and more!. We tried Glorias to give it a ?second chance? last night and it was just as bad as we remembered. Salsa and beans that came out with chips were the best things on the table the entire evening. Fish tacos-what went for- were B-O-R-I-N-G. They consist of tortillas with big chunks of tilapia and?.nothing else. The plate does have shredded lettuce and a measly pile of pico, but this isnt what a gourmet fish taco is about. If we wanted to build our own taco, we would have gone to a taco stand. My spinach quesadillas were blah- nothing to write home about. The tamales are very pureed and so the consistency was a problem for me. Our queso appetizer was also a downer- Velveeta, anyone? Be sure and eat it at lightning speed if you do order some, it begins to coagulate within seconds. Portions of any ?toppings? are miniscule- guacamole, sour cream, etc. Waitstaff was less impressive than the bus staff. Think twice and head on down to our nearby fave-Cantina Laredo!
Local chain popular for mixing Latin and Southwestern influences into cuisine called "Salvatex.".
In Short
The menu features dishes from Mexico and El Salvador, combined with a Texas twist. Of special note is the handmade corn tamal dish packed with potatoes, sweet peppers, tomatoes and chicken, all wrapped and steamed in a banana leaf. The generously portioned plate also includes a corn tortilla with semi-spicy pork and cheese.
