Experience the Texas Wine Country at Delaney Vineyards ---- in Grapevine!. The best day-trip in Dallas! Wine lovers and novices alike are sure to enjoy this beautiful and picturesque vineyard and winery in the middle of the DFW Metroplex. Visiting here is like taking a trip to Napa Valley. This authentic replica of a French chateau is the perfect spot to waste away an afternoon wandering through the 10-acre vineyard and sample some of their award-winning wines, including a big, bold red (Three Daughters), some tantalizing sweet wines (try the Texas Rose ... it's their best seller!), and some beautiful white wines (go for the Sauvignon Blanc and the Chardonnay).

A great spot for a romantic date (guys, listen to me .. if you want to be a winner, THIS is where you want to go) or a girls' trip, and a great tourist spot to share with your out-of-towners in for the weekend.

The staff is friendly and welcoming ... and if you happen to see a guy in the vineyard with a cowboy hat ... be sure to stop and chat him up ... most likely, it's owner Jerry Delaney. He's the guy who serves wine in the extra big glasses.
