KANER MEDICAL GROUP SHOULD HAVE BETTER DOCTORS!!! (STAFF).
I went to kaner medical group about 6 months ago while I was pregnant. Only one lady seemed really sweet and caring she was the one checking me in and checking me out... the doctor i seen was VERY short with me and didnt seem to want to hear my concerns thoroughly. being pregnant I wanted to make sure what I had was taken care of properly. she prescribed me medication and asked me to come back in two weeks.
When i went back, I still was not recovered so I asked to get another prescription and she thought for some reason to make a special order since i was preggo, well that special mix she called in was expensive ($145) and insurance did not cover it. So i asked my OB/GYN what he thought and thought it was rediculous, the regular medication was just fine. since that's what she had given me the first time. No Way will I ever go back again nor think about it.....RIP OFF, careless doctors
Worst Doctor Ever!.
I went to Kaner Medical Group for about a year and a half. I was new to DFW, and was trying to find a permanent doctor. At the time, only Dr. Koshy was available.
He told me that most of my issues were allergy related and recommended Claritin-D every day. On several occasions I went back to Dr. Koshy because I had puss pockets in my throat. Dr. Koshy swore up and down that it was allergy related! After I couldn't shake it for 3 months, he did a blood test and said "Well, it's not mono. Keep taking Claritin-D and it will go away." The whole time I kept telling him that I am prone to Tonsilitis, and asked if he could prescribe an anti-biotic to see if it helped. Dr. Koshy would not prescribe anything except Claritin-D! I went to Care Now and they diagnosed me with Strep Throat... and I got anti-biotics!
I will NEVER go back to Kaner Medical Group again! It is now July 2010, and I am still receiving calls from their billing department saying I owe $5 from October 2009, which I have paid several times over!
Kaner Medical know nothing about patient courtesy. i got a phone message one time on my machine saying i had cancer. the nurse is always rude, and never lets me talk. she cuts me off in mid conversation. she leaves rude messages and is rude when she callas as well. everytime i am there for a specific reason they think i am there for another reason (their own agenda for me). I have been forwarded to a few consultants and when i tell the doctor what they said she does not believe me. i will never be back there. i gave it 5 times just to make sure i was fair and not overly critical! This is always Dr. Beruit's nurse. i don't know about the other doctors treatment of their patients.
