Enjoyable shopping. I have been taking my family here for years. We love the ginger lemon cookies, the Kirkland products, the organic products, their bakery, and their greeters. Each time we are warmly greeted and welcomed as though we were invited over to a family get-together. When Idon't have the kIds with me; they are remembered by Tryphena and Carolyn. The goodies such as Dodie are eager to share stories and are quite helpful. The vendor events are really good such as the Comphy Co. sheets and bedding which I used in spas. The returns department makes any purchase guaranteed. The only thing I would like to see is an express lane since lines can get long.
Goig downhill. Having been a Costco member since it first came to Texas, I have noticed a steady decline of this particular store. On the many occasions I have been there, I have noticed many employees having a "who cares" attitude. The management is no better as when I tried to voice a concern about a bad experience I had with an employee, they coldly and abruptly offered to merely refund my membership instead of addressing the problem. Needless to say, I'll be going back to Sam's.
Boxes of consumer goodies are stacked as high as the eye can see at this international chain store.
Formerly known as the Price Club, this large membership-only warehouse is chock-full of almost any consumer product under the sun-in bulk, of course. With goods ranging from high-end electronics to outdoor furniture to fresh lobster, this wholesale superstore has got it (lots and lots of it!). While the high-volume and low prices appeals mainly to families and business, it's not uncommon to find college students trolling the various aisles for free food samples. The various membership options offer a range of plans, all reasonably priced. A word of warning to shopaholics: If you leave home without a list, you might spend more than you bargained for with all the deals offered.
