Great Salon. I love Shampoo, it's my home away from home. It is a place to relax, laugh and get pretty. Salons that I have been to in the past moved me through the assembly line. You can tell the stylists here really care. They are always having classes and seem to really stay on top of their craft. The last time i went my hair looked so awesome complete strangers were asking me where i go! My only complaint is i live in Dallas. So shampoo people if you are reading, COME TO DALLAS!!! Love yall!
I LOOK LIKE A STAR. Thanks to the awsome staff at Shampoo I look like a star....and I got the star treatment (with two people blow-drying my hair at once)!!!! I dont know what that other lady is talking about (she must be a princess), Ally cut my hair just how I explained and it turned out even better than I hoped. She gave me a chin length cut with a few bangs and it is super easy to style. When I came in I had long, below the shoulders brown hair. I was so nervous when I got there...but everyone there was smiling and having a good time, that I felt right at home. Also we did highlights, and usually when I get them done they look weird or orange but Ally kept them very natural. I look like I was at the beach. My husband also noticed my hair which is huge!!! Highly recommend. No egos.Bonus>No tipping so they really are nice not just trying to get a big tip.
Not really what I wanted. I usually go to another salon in Arlington but I wanted to find a salon with a stylist who would give me innovative new ideas (as well as follow my directions). The stylist at Shampoo (Ally) was nice but I could tell from the start that she was probably not going to do what I wanted. I showed her a picture of a short cut and confirmed that I wanted to take some length off, but she kept me in long hair. Not only that but the bottom part of my hair was significantly thinned out. If I don't style it exactly how she did it looks odd with the thinned bottom hair. I am going to have to get it fixed at another salon now. I don't like asking a person to fix something when they didn't listen to me in the first place. In addition the cost was $60 which is a little ridiculous for a cut I didn't want. I can pay less at another salon and get a free scalp massage too (which I didn't receive here).

Best ever!. You can feel this place is great when you walk through the door. A family-owned business with amazing talent. They find inspiration cutting hair on the streets of New York City, and opening up for rock shows.
