OLD NEWS. I agree, the food isn't that great and the waits are slow, and they do tend to forget your order. I have found from experience, the more money you spend, better the service. Which is wrong and sad!

The place needs to be updated! I believe they can afford a complete update, with all the eye-candy that is readily available. It's a jungle/maze of t-shirts, stuffed animals, toys and so on...just to get to the resturant itself.

If you enjoy a quiet place to eat...Do not go to the RainForest Cafe.

I suppose now it's just OLD NEWS! For people that haven't tried it out, should give it a chance.

At first it was about perserving the Real RainForest, now it's about how much junk they can sell and a very small amount goes to help the RainForest.

I'll give it a C+ or 3.5 for keeping its doors open. =)

NEVER again,,,,. This is the worse place ever for service! I ordered a beer after being seated,they forgot about it and like a dummy i sat there for 20 minutes waiting. Waitress returns to take my drink order,i reminded her i already ordered a beer. She apologizes and disappears again for 10 minutes,comes back with nothing and asks to take our order,i reminded here with a very pissed off attitude i didn't get my F-in beer! She responds with my language is uncalled for lol. Manager comes to table and asks whats wrong,i said i ordered a beer about an hour ago and his little server doesn't know how to do her F-in job. Manger says your complete order is on the house,i replied with " I don't have all F-in night to wait for it" This place sucks!

This cartoon jungle is a child's wonderland, with waterfalls, swinging monkeys and a canopy of faux flora and fauna.. In Short
While waiting for a table, hungry diners prowl the retail village, where cash-register ka-chings compete with chirping birds, roaring lions and chest-thumping gorillas. When the lights start to flicker, never fear--thunderstorms are part of the show. The menu is American comfort food--pastas, burgers, pizzas and salads--served with a tropical flair. There are plenty options that the kids will recognize, but enough novelty to keep the parents happy.

Fun place to eat. Its one nice place to eat. The food isnt anything special, but the place is just awesome. The animals, the mist, everything gives it that Congolese touch.

Pop culture, meet nature!. The Rainforest Cafe is a highlight of Grapevine Mills Mall. If you're a big fan of nature, then this place aims to please. There's a nature-based gift shop in the front of the restaurant where you can buy many nice T-shirts, mugs, toys and stuffed animals made in China. They also have a giant tropical fish tank at the entrance to the restaurant. I did get a strange vibe there of "corporations are good for the environment", the same kind of vibe I got at the Fort Worth Zoo.

Inside the restaurant itself is a plethora of jungle-themed goodness. Fake tropical plants litter the inside, with animatronic animals roaring here and there. Up above there's a ceiling decorated with stars. It's enough to make you squeal with delight if you're a kid or a furry. Every 20 minutes or so there are flashing lights at random places in the trees, with a rumble of thunder, simulating a great thunderstorm. There's also an Incan-looking golden statue at the back of the restaurant.

Now why am I making such a big deal about the atmosphere? Because the food isn't all that great. Sure you can get a cheeseburger, quesadillas, pasta, and the other old standbys with fancier names. The only dish that stands out is their signature dessert "The Volcano!" which is a large platter brownie cake, fudge, and ice cream, topped off with a sparkler (for 2 or more people). You always know when someone ordered The Volcano when you hear a waiter walk out with a sparkling mountain on a plate screaming "VOLCANOOOOO!!!"

This is a nutty family fun place, with the looming corporate culture in the air. There's an environmental style to this place, but very little of it shows as actual care for the environment. If you want dinner and a pretty good show, by all means stop by, just be prepared for the noises of animals, nature, and children.

Food. The food sucked big time... I have eaten at this place three times and the only reason I returned is because of me 5 yr old daughter.. she loves the calamri....I will return simple for the fact that my daughter loves this place, however I will not be eating ... sad to say but looking around is the only part of rainforest cafe that is enjoyable...
